*** Pricing Plans ***
At South Florida Medical
Transcription Services, we offer nine different pricing plans from
which to choose, one of which is sure to provide you with even greater
savings as compared to the "one size fits all" approach of quoting only one static billing rate. Depending on the nature and type of
your medical reports, we encourage you to select the pricing plan that works
best for you. Or you can contact us at (954)
922-8040 and we can analyze your reports and help you choose the plan that's best for you.
To select the most cost-effective
plan, please click on (and review) each sample document ( A
B C
D E
F G
) and
identify the report style (by letter) that is most similar to yours. Then
simply locate the plan in the table below that yields the lowest price for that
particular report. For
your convenience, the lowest price
for each sample document is highlighted.

In
general, Plan #1 yields the lowest price for short “outline-style”
reports while plan #9 yields the lowest price for long
“paragraph-style” reports.
Intermediate numbered
plans (4,5,6) are often the logical choice for clients that dictate approximately equal amounts of both "outline-style"
and "paragraph-style" reports.
For
most clients, plan #7 provides for the best possible compromise when
dictating many different types of reports (Chart Notes, Progress
Notes, Consultation Reports, Radiology Reports, New Patient
Evaluations, Etc.) and accordingly, most new clients are initially
placed on Plan #7.
A brief analysis follows…
-
Document
A is a short ¾-page outline-style report with short sentences and many
subtitles.
-
Document
B features 1½ pages of outline text, also with many subtitles.
-
Document
C is a 1-page paragraph-style report with long sentences and few paragraphs.
-
Document
D is a 2-page outline-style report with many short paragraphs and many
subtitles.
-
Document
E is another 1-page paragraph-style report similar to Document C.
-
Document
F is a long 3-page paragraph-style report with long sentences and large
paragraphs.
-
Document
G is a batch radiology report consisting of 13 separate reports on 7 pages.
As
a guide, and to help you choose the pricing plan that’s best for you…
Lower Numbered
Plans (1,2,3) are most cost effective for…
Higher Numbered
Plans (7,8,9) are most cost effective for…
Intermediate
Numbered Plans (4,5,6) are the logical choice when you dictate approximately equal amounts of both "outline-style"
and "paragraph-style" reports.
Important Note: For most clients that dictate a wide variety of
reports, plan #7 provides for the lowest overall medical transcription
costs and accordingly, most new clients are initially placed on Plan
#7. Plan #7 is also how the vast majority
of reputable medical transcription companies bill for their services, including
us. Also important to note is that depending on the nature and type of your medical
reports, the pricing plan that can provide you with the best deal is
not necessarily the plan with the lowest cost per line! Thus in order to intelligently choose the most cost-effective pricing plan, please
refer to the above "Pricing Plans Comparison and Spreadsheet Analysis"
worksheet, or contact us at (954)
922-8040 and we can analyze your reports and help you choose the plan that's best for you.
